My name is Lian Bunny, and I am a journalist and photographer. I'm a proud St. Bonaventure University graduate and a Buffalo native.

For me, journalism is a lifestyle.  From internships at places such as the WBFO, Buffalo's NPR radio station, to employers such as The Buffalo Bills, I write and photograph about as much as I breathe.  I also love to travel. As a News21 fellow in 2016 I traveled to Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee to report on voting rights for a national, multimedia project.

Currently, I am a reporter for Buffalo Business First. I cover retail, education and job trends from a business perspective. I write 7 to 10 stories a week, oftentimes using data to drive my reporting. I also produce our annual Schools Guide. 

​I also teach photojournalism at St. Bonaventure University.

My past experiences include reporting for The West Seneca Sun, a weekly publication owned by The Buffalo News.
